Healing does not mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.

Inspiring, Inspirational, Up-lifting, Motivational pictures, quotes and sayings.

Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.

(Just because something has caused you pain and damage in your life, doesn't mean you have to let it control the rest of your life.)

Some of life's best lessons are learned at the worst times.

(I am going through some really difficult struggles, physically/medically and I am struggling with it a lot. I keep trying to tell myself that there are lessons to be learned from it.)

Instead of judging someone by their past. Stand by them and help them repair their future.

(Maybe instead of always judging someone by their past, we should try to help them build/repair a better future.)

In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take, relationships we were too afraid to have, and the decisions we waited too long to make.

The best way to treat obstacles is to use them as stepping stones. Laugh at them, tread on them and let them lead you to something better.

A moment of patience in a moment of anger
  saves thousand moments of regret.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

Life is too short. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change.

And so we climb...
Higher than the forest domain.
 Higher than the sun's retreat.
Higher than the limits of our fear.
 Higher than our vast insecurities.
Beyond whispers of the unknown.
Beyond the need of tangible hope.
Beyond the brokenness of memories.
 Beyond the confines of comprehension.
And so we climb.

The bravest thing I ever did was continuing my life when I wanted to die.

(There definitely have been times in my life, when I just wanted to die and wished I were dead. But something always made me hold on and keep on going, no matter how difficult my life seemed to be/get.)

Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth.

(Just because someone else doesn't see your worth, doesn't mean you are worthless.)

Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

It's okay to not be perfect.
It's okay to make mistakes.
It's okay to do something that
you wish you hadn't done,
because if we don't do those
things we never grow.

(I have definitely said and done some things I wish I hadn't, but I have learned some lessons from some of them, some the hard way.)
