If you don't like your body then stop complaining and do something about it. Get up and get active. Exercise. You have the power to change the appearance of your body and sculpt it into better shape through exercise. Some grumble that it is too hard to get in better shape and takes too long. It is not suppose to be easy or happen over night. It is exercise, not a magic wand. It will not be easy, exercise shouldn't be easy, getting in shape is suppose to be challenging to your body. If it were easy don't you think everyone would be in shape?
So many people use the excuse that they don't have the time to exercise. If you have the time to fit in 30 minutes of sitting on your behind getting online. Or sitting watching TV shows or movies several times a week or going out partying for hours, then you have time to exercise. You just chose to not include exercise in your life. So be honest about it. Don't use that lazy excuse that you don't have the time. When in fact you did have the time, but you chose to use it on something else less beneficial to your life/health.
If you don't like how you look and complain about your body then shouldn't getting in shape, exercising and living healthier be more important to you than getting online or watching TV for hours or going out partying? Shouldn't including exercise in your life take top priority over that stuff?
You can't expect others to do the hard work and exercise for you that hard work/exercise has to be done by you. Stop thinking you can take short cuts to getting in shape. Stop thinking getting in-shape is suppose to be easy and happen over night. It is not suppose to be easy and results don't happen over night. So stop giving up only after a short amount of time and saying, "nothing worked, I have tried everything." That is just not true! It didn't work because you gave up. Getting in shape isn't just this thing you can do for a short amount of time then quit and expect to see or keep the results. Sometimes you can't even see any results until a few months or years later after exercising on a regular basis 3-5 times a week or more. Sometimes the results are small and gradual and then over time your progress is shown more and more if you keep at it.
But once you get to certain results you like, you shouldn't just stop and expect to keep the results. Staying in shape is a lifestyle that you have to keep at it and not quit and give up. Don't expect to see results over night and don't give up so quick and don't expect it to be easy.
* Set realistic fitness goals. Start small so you don't feel overwhelmed and like the goal is too impossible to reach. Then keep moving forward and gradually setting more goals after the previous goals are reached. For example:
* If you want to lose weight, then set a realistic number of pounds you want to lose in each week. Maybe set the first week to 3 pounds, then the next week to five, then increase it up to 6 pounds but keep it in a reachable realistic range.
* Set a goal to do a certain amount of repetitions of a certain exercise and increase the number of reps each week. But remember to keep it realistic.
* Set a goal to lift a certain amount of weight and then gradually increase that weight every week or every other week.
* Set a goal to walk or run a certain number of miles and gradually increase it.
Switch up your workout. Don't always do the same exercises in the same order each time you work out. Your body can get use to a routine and it will stop working. So switch things up to challenge yourself once you become use to a workout/exercise. Exercise is suppose to be challenging to your body. If an exercise is too easy for you or becomes too easy for you then you need to increase your reps or the amount of weight you are using, increase the limit or try adding some different exercises and doing them in a different order to keep your body guessing so you can keep challenging your body.
Don't give up if something doesn't work for you. Getting in shape is not a "one fits all" thing. There can be many different ways for a person to get in shape and exercise. So if one doesn't work for you, don't quit completely, try something else. If you can't do something, don't let it stop you from doing the things you can do. If one thing doesn't work find another way, but don't give up and say nothing worked.
No more saying you don't have the time to exercise. Make the time!
